Awh ya that’s a waste then LOL ?

Also, it’s never a waste to do upgrading, you’ll need university credits regardless of what school you go to (unless you already have some) so that’s why I took electives with athabasca while I was figuring everything else out and now I don’t have to take any with nipissing ??♀️

RPN to RN Bridging
I just checked I finished with a 88 and put very little effort in LOL. I didn’t end up doing any more courses! I was enrolled in one then withdrew when I decided to go to nipissing. Sorry!

RPN to RN Bridging
Hey! I took “developmental psychology ” I believe it was called. Fairly easy. I finished with 80+ for sure but don’t remember exactly what it was. I’m currently doing the part time bridging with nipissing and don’t have to take any electives so that’s nice.

I THINK you could use those electives from your degree to boost your average..I emailed them a few weeks ago about something and they never got back to me..maybe call?? But I can imagine with that average AND your electives done you’d have a better shot than me!!

RPN to RN Bridging
Hey so I’ve heard nothing! I’ve taken that as a no.. I’m assuming soon (or so I’d think) they’ll send the yes or no email? But im assuming If it was a yes I would have gotten an email by now. I've been proactive and have almost completed a course with athabasca university, to help get my average up. And even enrolled for another one to start next month.. hoping to bring my average up by a few points so I’ll get accepted for next September and then I’ll have two uni electives out of the way ??♀️

RPN to RN advice
Hey there! I've been an RPN for just over a year now and I would love to bridge to do my RN. I applied to UOIT and just found out today that I've been waitlisted for sept. 2020 (my average is an 84 ? ). I don't work with a place affiliated with Nipissing and I live to far to drive to any other school that offers bridging programs... I just don't know what to do... Do I take courses to upgrade? .. I may take a course and bring my average up only 1% and perhaps that still won't get me an acceptance (unless I get 90-100% in which case I could raise It up 2%) Do I make the 2 hour drive to another school? Do I find another job with a place affiliated with nipissing? any help or suggestions or even just something to help me think/decide what to do would be helpful! thanks.

undecided:(
I personally took pre-health before going into nursing.. It's great to get used to the college experience before you go into such a heavy program like nursing. Obviously its unfortunate the money that has to be spent but i think it's worth it.. and then you get out of classes like com and your general education courses later
