Undecided..Need Help!

Hello Everyone!

I am a 26 year old male living in the Los Angeles-area. I have been a Certified Medical Assistant for about 3.5 years. I have decided to go back to school and continue you on my pursuit in the Medical field. I am stuck between which path to take.

Little more details about me:

I speak English and Spanish, I currently work full time at a surgery center where my title is surgery center manager, I have no children and am about to get married in 2 months.

I would love to pursue a career as being a paramedic. I know UCLA offers a great paramedic program but I need to be a current and seasoned EMT. The other option is for me to pursue the full on RN path. I once heard someone say I can fast track the pre-req's for nursing programs. I do not know if this is true but I am definitely interested.

My questions are: Are there colleges, whether online or in class, offering fast track for RN pre-req's? If so, can you please pass this info along to me? Are there such things as online nursing degrees? What is the shortest time frame one can achieve in completing ll pre-reqs? Also, I need something that will allow me to work FT, at least until clinicals take place....
