UNCC CRNA Fall 2015

I have applied to the UNCC CRNA program for the fall of 2015. I am super excited and nervous but this waiting on a letter stating whether I have and interview or not is killing me. Has anyone heard anything yet? Also, any pointers on definite "do not say this" in the interview or "you should say this"? I was told to make sure that I do not state that I "google" for information and that "youtube" should not be mentioned as a form of learning. Also, I was told to never say "that I am tired of nursing" because CRNAs are still nurses. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Finally received and update......

Dear Carolinas Medical Center Nurse Anesthesia Program/UNCC Applicant

We are sending this email to inform you of the following:

1. We have received your application and it is currently in the review process.

2. We will be conducting in person interviews a little later than usual. Interviews will be held on Friday, March 27th, and Saturday, March 28th.

3. We will determine who will be invited for interview and you will be informed no later than Monday, March 1st.

hi- I just interviewed this past weekend for 2017 admission. How long did it take to get a decision on admission. And curious what you credentials and stats were...any info is greatly appreciated

Hey BigGoose62!

I'm looking for some advice about UNCC's program. I was initially told by the interim director that they use your BSN GPA when one is considered for admission. The website states they include every class taken since high school. Do you know which is correct? I have a less than stellar undergrad in an unrelated field from 10+ years ago and won't waste my time applying if it will be included.
