UNC Nurse Residency May - September 2023

Hello!

I couldn't find a topic started for this already, so I wanted to create a thread for those who may be applying for the Nurse Residency program with UNC (whether that be Chapel Hill, Rex, etc.)!

If you have applied, where are you in the process? Which location did you apply for? Which department?

I applied for the Outpatient Infusion Center at Chapel Hill. I had my first interview earlier this week, they requested references from me yesterday, and I got moved onto the final interview which I have tomorrow!

I also applied for the OR residency at Rex but have not heard anything back from it except for an automatic message saying my application was being moved forward onto the hiring managers.

I know no one has responded to this topic yet, but just in case someone does see this and will also be doing the residency program - I just accepted the offer to work for their Outpatient Infusion Center! So if anyone else is going to be doing UNCs Nurse Residency (especially if you're doing the Oncology Residency) please let me know ?
