UNC ABSN Admissions

I've applied, but haven't heard back. I'm confused as to whether I'm waiting to hear back from undergrad admissions as the final say so, or if I didn't get a letter directly from the nursing school that means I didn't get in. Either way, I'm just as anxious!

I know - it's a bit confusing. The admission's clerk said they would be sending out notifications between mid-March to mid-April, so I'm hoping that the passing of March with no news isn't a bad sign! Best of luck to you...

Heard back today. I got waitlisted I guess I'll just finish my pre-req. this semester and apply for Jan.

I heard yesterday and was rejected. This has been a really frustrating process, actually, which has struck me as really unprofessional. Just no straight answers. I'm masters prepared and have been told by several faculty that I'm an excellent candidate, that there was nothing to do to imrove my application, but I was also told that because I'm completing a pre-requisite right now I'm off the list just because of that. I wonder if there are other people out there like me - I was accepted at Duke but rejected at UNC. I know several other people who have applied for the 14 month program who also have master's degrees and they were also rejected. Who are they looking for???
