Hey!

Anyone planning on applying to UMSON for Spring of '13?

I have a question for Grey Lady,

I have been accepted for the Spring 2013 Semester. I applied for the Baltimore location and when I received a call I was told the Baltimore location is where I've been accepted. I received my letter in the mail today and it says Shady Grove Center. Do you know the likely hood of the letter possibly be incorrect? Has this ever happened to anoyone before. please help...

It has happened before. Please call the admissions office on Monday and ask for them about it. If your call indicated that you are expected to attend the Baltimore campus it is likely that the letter you received is incorrect. Easily corrected but make sure it is.

Thank you. Is there a posibility that all of the seats were filled at the Baltimore location and I was added to the Shady Grove Center? I really hope there is an error in my letter because it is a very long commute for me and I may not be able to accept the offer :(

I wonder if accepted/wait listed/rejected people have all been finding out or just accepted students?

AAAHHHHH I GOT ACCEPTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i seriously cant believe it OMG

now i have to decide how the heck im going to move to baltimore in time since i live in atlanta...uggh now im wishing i had applied for fall 2013 instead tht wouldve given me enough time to plan...ugh decisions decisions....

Ames,To your previous question, last year I was waitlisted. And I'm not sure about this but I believe they send out rejections and 1st round acceptances first. Then 2nd round acceptances and waitlists. I had to wait about a month to find out I was waitlisted because they were waiting to see if a slot opened from the initial 2 rounds of accepted students to see who didn't want a spot. Once you get accepted you have two weeks to reserve your spot. So don't give up hope!

We do not arbitrarily change the campus which the student indicated they wanted to attend. Please call the admissions office tomorrow. I am sure you will be fine.

If you give up your seat, you cannot be sure you will have it for fall. You can request a deferral but there is no guarantee it will be granted. I would advise just going for it. Best of luck!

i decided to just go ahead and go for it i cant bring myself to risk the opportunity of attending such an awesome nursing program. i have a question though,i havent recieved a call or any mail so should i be recieving tht sometime this week?
