Am I in the wrong place?? I would think that there would be a lot of chatter with the deadline being tomorrow!

I am sure there are oodles applying. Now...where is everyone?!

I applied to Balto and it appears that many posing here their acceptances are from there. Does NOT look good for me ;(. In all honesty, I pray they change my status to "reject" instead of making me wait for a letter or something. I want to know sooner than later. Make sense? Many, many, MANY, congrats to those who are IN!!!!! You did awesome!

I'm in the same boat as you, SB113. I agree with wanting to know where I stand (even if it is rejected!) sooner rather than later. Hang in there!

Applicant statuses are being changed today and in no particular order. I see admits and rejections on both campuses and do not see any pattern, even an alphabetical one. They seem to be doing all categories at the same time. I know that the plan is to change all the statuses first and then start calling students. So, if your status has not changed yet you cannot read ANYthing into that. It looks to me as if they are almost through half of the applicants.

So, today is the day! Best of luck to all of you!

Hi Grey Lady,

When you wrote "they seem to be doing all categories at the same time," does that also include RN-BSN students? I've read in the forums that RN-BSN decisions have taken a little longer in past years.

Also, thank you for all your posts in the forums! It's great to have a representative of University of Maryland on this site!!

They will be working the BSN applicants first, then the RN to BSN, then the graduate students. It is my understanding that all statuses for BSN students will be done by the end of the day and, once completed, phone calls will start. Baltimore will be accepting twice as many students as Shady Grove so it stands to reason that more of their acceptances would be showing up on this thread.

Grey lady,What does the status say if it changes to waitlisted?

UPDATE - it may be tomorrow morning before all statuses are changed. The waitlist status has always been "Waitlisted" so I presume that is what it will be.

Oh. My. Goodness. The waiting is going to be torture!!Ms. Grey...just look up my name and post it here...I don't care who sees that I've been rejected!! Hahaha

My status was just changed to

Hi, Gray Lady, What does it mean about" Provisional-Admit", What I should do next?

Hi, Gray Lady, What does it mean about" Provisional-Admit", What I should do next?

It likely means that you have been admitted providing that you get a B or better or an acceptable CLEP score on any classes you have yet to submit a transcript for. So, don't slack off on any courses you are taking now or this summer - they are quite serious about this requirement.

Thanks a lot! Gray Lady.

Actually, I already got my first degree in other country. In additional, I almost finished all of the prerequisite courses designed for those applicants without a bachelor's degree(59 prerequisites). For some reasons, I did not take any class this spring. So I have to finish a math course, and two "humanities elective" this summer.

Is it possible that I can waive the math course?
