UMSON CNL Spring 2022

Hi everyone I wanted to start a thread for the Clinical Nurse Leader, Master Level Entry to Nursing. for Spring 2022 Applicants. I started my application this week and my goal is to submit well before the priority deadline. August 1st.  Anyone else getting started?

Absolutely ! I have applied to a few other programs last year and this forum is so helpful. @NewNurse908 I agree I have heard that is the case when deadlines are extended. So I hopeful that maybe the applicant pool is not heavy. Better odds of getting accepted.  :) 

 

When we all get accepted :) is anyone moving from out of state ?

I am also applying to Hopkins, possibly one other school but not sure just yet. I live in Maryland. I have a few associates who went through the CNL program and they've given the program rave reviews!

Hi guys, figured I would chime in here since I am also waiting to hear back for this program. I interviewed I think around July 9 or 10? Can't remember the exact date but I have been waiting since then and my application status has been under "committee review" since July 2. The waiting sucks. Keep ya chins up!

I submitted my application about 2 weeks. I was worried that my late submission would lessen my odds but I see that the application deadline got extended. So I’m hopefully that it means they are still on the search for applicants.

@Berado Wow! So you had your interview almost a month ago! May I ask, how long before your interview did you submit your application? I just want to see an estimate of when I may have my interview.

A long time before. I think I had submitted sometime in May, so things are moving really slowly. I've just accepted it's a lot of waiting. I did this process waiting for Hopkins about six months ago (I was waitlisted that round, hence the reapplying for Spring), so the waiting doesn't phase me too much anymore. I've learned that it has no bearing on the decision.

Hey all, 

For those of you who have seen "committee review", where is that located? is it on the application website? How can I find it.

My application just went to committee review on Friday. When I logged in, it is listed under status. Also when you click on you application another tab is added next to Supplemental Items & Documents that says Decision History.

Just got my admissions letter today! Yay! Anyone hear back and get any info on merit-based scholarship? Wondering if that could come later, or would be included in the admissions letter if you were to receive it.

Congratulations !  Currently under committee reviews (fingers crossed) how long ago did you interview, and how was the interview if you don’t mind me asking.
