UMSON CNL Spring 2017

Hey everyone!

Just got confirmation that my application is complete and ready to roll for the UMD CNL Spring 2017 application term. Anyone else on here applying?

Did you contact Sheena Jackson? She told me to call her if I hadn't heard and was entertaining other offers.

I haven't yet but she knows I have other offers. And Hopkins gave me a pretty big scholarship so we'll see. I like that you come out of UMD with as CNL though...

Hi guys, I have been watching this thread for four days now and it has been very helpful already. I submitted my application this September and my status turned committee ready on Friday. I have got an email on Monday for an interview. I learned about the status and the essay from this forum so I want to say a big thank you to all of you. Also, my interview is tomorrow and I am pretty nervous about it. I want this so bad I was very scared to post here for the fear I might get attached to all of you, but I do hope I get in so I can get to see all you good people. I was also wondering if there are some others that would be interviewing tomorrow, it might take out some nervousness just to communicate with you. Just did my essay this morning and I cannot say how to know about what doing really well on the essay is. Anyway, hoping someone says something to me soon. And, congrats to all of you who have been accepted already, more prayers and good luck to those waiting to hear from them, and those who would soon be interviewed.

Congrats @cnl_inclined on your interview! I was accepted a few weeks ago and like you, we ALL had the same anxiety you're probably experiencing right now. You'll be fine! As far as the essay, we all had the same sentiments, if you know how to write a very basic essay then you likely did fine.

Thanks @CNLbound, I actually got a hint for my user name from you, LOL. Yeah, I got my score for the essay instantly, I will definitely let you guys know how it goes.

Hi Guys! I'm just a little confused and somewhat nervous.

So I did my interview 3 weeks ago, this is the third week, and my application status still says "committee ready". I even called the nursing department and they told me once a decision is made, they will change my application status. I previously thought they would at least send an email, or even call....

I'm tired of waiting! I just want to get in.

@cnl_inclined congratulations to you. Question pls, did you say you submitted your application this September and your status turned to committee ready on Friday??? Waooo I also submitted my this September and it's still says Complete Ready for review. It has still not changed. I am getting scared now.. I just hope they get back to me.

If you accept at Hopkins, @BmoreHealthy. We'll be in the same cohort. I'll be attending in January. The scholarship they offered catapulted them to the top of my list. So, I've accepted.

@ParisLee! If it's at all helpful, it took a little over 3 weeks for my status to change. I know the wait can be excruciating! I'm sending my nursing-school-acceptance vibes your way!!

@Beauty13, yes I did, but I guess I submitted like 2weeks before you did. I submitted mine on the 1st of this month. I believe yours will change too because mine took like 3weeks to change. I went for my interview today but that makes me even more nervous. I don't even know what to think. I hope I get in. You will get an interview invite i believe. Good luck.

@pickles21, I do need some of those vibes too. I wish I could just open my wall and see that I have been accepted. Since you accepted Hopkins, does that mean you will not accept or come to UMSON since they also accepted you?

@cnl_inclined! Yes! Vibes sent to you too!! I hope very much that you get in. In answer to your question: My space should have opened up at UMSON. I did get accepted to the CNL program, but I informed them a couple of weeks ago that I would not be enrolling because I chose to go somewhere else.
