UMSON BSN Spring 2022

Hi there!

I'm applying to UMSON BSN Spring 2022. I create this thread, then we all can share or ask any questions.

It is hard to stay patient. We’ve been patient for months. Now it’s November and have no decision. We were told by end of October. So frustrating!

I know. They need to understand, we also have to plan ahead of time. For example, I like to plan what my budget for food, books, bills, transportation will be. I like to be proactive on that. We are about 2 months away from Spring 2022. It’s really around the corner.

some of us have to budget. lets not forget those who need to sign up for financial aid. the decision affects a lot of our next steps.

I wander if there is an issue with instructors, kept hearing about the shortage of nursing instructors

Don’t forget the vaccinations and making doctors appointments!! They’re really being unfair 

Everything is really on a standstill for me, and I’m at a point where I have to start getting my immunizations together. Budgeting, applying for scholarships, making a list of things needed for school.

The word on the street is, UMSON is short staffed. I’m not sure whether that entails the whole staff (instructors included) or just administrative staff..
