Hi there!

I'm applying to UMSON BSN Spring 2022. I create this thread, then we all can share or ask any questions. 

 

Okay so I got an email around 1:57pm  that my portal has been updated with a decision.

Honestly this nursing school admission is a testimony. It’s just by God’s grace because my stats ain’t it at all, my TEAS score was 68.7

my GPA 3.47 something which is 3.5. So I really don’t give any credits to my stats because I don’t have any clinical or hospital experience. All I have is God in whom I trust. So don’t give up and trust God! The same way he did it for me if you can trust him. He would do it for you all.

@Iamblessed I have been lurking on here but when I saw your comment I had to make an account and comment. What a testimony! God is so good. I am also hoping to my news tomorrow I’m praying all the prayers. My TEAS will be around your stats but I have ample healthcare experience in the rehab world hopefully that helps as I worked all through the pandemic. What a big testimony. I’m hoping for mine. Congrats!

@CTA2RN yes I stand in faith and believe with you. It shall come to pass as long as you believe. Don’t give up, earlier this year I received rejection letters and I didn’t give up I trust God. I was supposed to start this fall but I got rejected. Now look at God! I’m not qualified in any way because even my TEAS science score was 58 ?

Congrats!! OMG so happy for you. Pray the rest of us get acceptances. I’m here with a 3.5 and 72 TEAS score. I’m just praying ? Gods Grace.

To All:

how much of previous healthcare experience will help an average candidate? I have above the required stats but 4 years experience as a PTA and worked during the entire pandemic. I know someone mentioned here it is holistic but im starting to feel anxious

It all depends. It’s pretty random at UMSON.
