I do not know how many of you are familiar with the UMSL and Barnes Jewish Nursing schools at St. Louis, but I would like to know which is, in your opinion, a better Nursing school and what the advantages and disadvantages of both schools are? I am accepted at both schools, but I haven't made up my mind yet about which schoool to choose. I, personally, do not know anyone that went to either of these schools so I wanted to ask anyone here to write what you know and what your opinions are. I hope you help.
UMSL 2006 Alumni here....I can't say enough good things about UMSL's nursing program. Most instructors are very good (with a few marginal ones thrown in there, as I'm sure is the case with any school), and some were downright excellent. I had a great experience there and felt the education was top-notch. It is a tad cheaper than BJCON as well. I only came in contact with a few BJCON students here and there, and they were also pleased with their program. I know I'm probably not much help, but it's probably more about preference and what works best for you. You should be very proud to get accepted to both - no small feat!
