I applied there for this upcoming fall as well. I actually toured the school yesterday. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Their simulation rooms were super impressive. It seems like a very encouraging atmosphere. Also, I think Belton is a really cute small town.
I have a 3.55 GPA and made a 81 on the Kaplan. All the students I spoke to said that I was "pretty much golden" so it doesn't seem as competitive as some of the other schools.
I applied for this fall also. I have a 3.35 overall and only about 2 more classes left to finish. They allow you to do one science either micro or Chem the first semester your in the program. I made a 62 on the Kaplan not so good but at least I got over the minimum. I know two people who are in the program and they like it one got in with a Gpa of 3.06 so if she got in then I'm sure you can too. I'm patiently waiting for April to know! Lol
Awesome! Maybe we will be future classmates. I made a 79 on the Kaplan, and I have 1 more science class to take in the summer. Hopefully if we are accepted then there will be a Facebook page or something. I'll need to find roommates wherever I go because I don't plan on staying on campus, I can find an apartment that's cheaper.
I applied to the program for this fall! My gpa is a 3.74 and I got a 74 on the Kaplan. I've got public speaking to take this summer and I'm taking Chem this fall (if I get in.) I have several friends who have gone through the program and they loved it! I've heard the take pretty much the number of people who apply each semester. I hope to see some of y'all this fall and holler if anyone needs a roommate. :) good luck!
I applied with a 3.26 overall Gpa and 3.03 for prerequisites I made a 62 on Kaplan. Have you applied to other schools? Umhb requires Kaplan and I made that score without studying. I'm sure if you study you can get higher it's actually one of the easiest tests compared to teas and hesi. What is your Gpa if you don't mind me asking. I know someone who got in with a 3.02.

Hey y'all. Anyone know anything about UMHB nursing program besides that it's an expensive private school? I need to know if the tuition is worth it in the case that I'm accepted to their program. Also feel free to share your stats or any information you've heard about the program.
I've applied to Texas State, UTMB, UTTyler, Sam Houston, and Baylor.
I have taken the TEAS, HESI, and Kaplan!
