I live in Hudson county and have an Associates in Science in conjuction with my RN so I have over 60 credits and I think most would transfer. I want a program that is short and preferrable year round so I can finish quicker. I know Felician has a fast track program but its kind of expensive.

I will be starting the rn to bsn program with umdnj/rowan university in the summer. You can transfer up to 90 credits. You will only need 9 nursing classes and the program can be completed in a year an half taking two classes per semester including summer. I also want to complete the program in a year. So I have decided that after my first semester which is coming up, I will take three classes instead of two in one of the semesters and that will allow me to finish in a year or 4 semesters instead. The program is very reasonable if you have all 90 credits. I believe it will cost around $12,000. If you are an EOF student like myself, then you get to keep that status. Good luck to you.

Did you already take the 3 classes they require for their degree?
I'm in Rutgers ABSN program right now. I can't really speak to UMDNJ, but I have had a great experience at Rutgers. The bureaucracy can be a little tough to navigate but the classes have been pretty good and you can't beat the price for NJ residents! Might want to check out prereqs listed on their website, perhaps that will dictate which school is better suited for you- perhaps you don't have the time to finish all the prereqs for one school before the program starts.

Does anyone have any feedback on either of these programs. ie. How long it takes to graduate, clinicals, instructors. I am currently applying to UMD and have already been accepted to rutgers. I need to let rugters know my decision by May 1.
thanks
