Did anyone get their acceptance letter for summer 2010 Newark ABSN program. The waiting is driving me crazy. :redbeathe

Has anyone taken the TEAs and BLS training yet? Just wondering how it was.

I did my BLS already, and its not bad. Four hours, and you have a small test at the end, (twenty questions). I have not done my TEAS as yet. I plan on doing it in April. Stressing about that now. If anyone did their TEAS as yet, please let us know how it is. Thank u all.

To aspiring_nursing,

It takes about 25-30 min from north Jersey to Newark, depends on your driving. It is entirely up to you now how badly you want to learn how to drive. If you get accepted before you learn to drive, I would suggest that you take the bus ( its not too bad), but get on top of that driving now. :)

Hi guys, did anyone receive a letter in the mail regarding a pilot pre-nursing program called NALC that they are offering to incoming students. It's 3 weeks from 9-3 mid-April. Just wondering if anyone plans to participate as I'm not sure yet. Thanks!

Hey, yea, my friend that got accepted got a letter for that pilot program as well. Has anyone still not heard from the school? I got accepted to Stratford and had a second review of my application for Newark, so I am very impatiently waiting!! I wonder what the latest they can tell us is?

Congratulations to everyone who got accepted!! I'm currently finishing my last 2 prereq's and need to send them my final grades as soon as I'm finished 'til they can fully review my application. Does anybody know when the program actually begins?

Yea, I got that letter too, and I plan on attending. I think it would be good for us, and it FREE. LOL. Did any of you guys get anything regarding the TEAS test? I haven't receive a package, just a letter telling me about the test dates.

I haven't received my package yet either! I'm waiting for it, I hope it comes soon.

I do have another question - which PDA device will everyone be using?

Hi JazzyJJ,

The info for the PDA is on their website in students resources. One suggested form of PDA is the apple Ipod touch, but I am not sure if it is the 16g or what. When r u going to take ur TEAS test?

I won't be able to commit to the pre-nursing program. So, I will be taking the TEAS on the 2nd day of orientation on April 28th.

Anybody know what happens if you're still completing prereqs but won't be done till the end of May? The website says that the summer term begins May 3rd. How would this affect my acceptance or my schedule of classes?

i could have sworn i saw online that classes start may 17th... my pre req ends may 13th. can anyone confirm the exact date we start??:confused:
