After following the Fall '09 thread with great interest, I thought it might be time to start a new thread for the Spring '10 applicants since we're inching closer to the Sep 1 deadline. I have a technical question for those who have applied before. I submitted my CNL application online this morning and paid the $50 and now it seems like my application has slipped into a vortex that I don't have access to. When I log onto SURFS to check my status, the only option that it gives me is to submit a new application. Is there somewhere else on the website that I should be looking to confirm that my application has been submitted and is pending review or awaiting additional information (transcripts, recommendations, etc)? Perhaps there is a delay between when the application is submitted and when the status is visible?
Best of luck to all the other applicants...now the agonizing waiting game begins! Looking forward to giving each other support and encouragement on this thread.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Question: I was so blown away & I forgot to ask when the packet would be sent in the mail... will it be sent this week? Reason I'm asking is I have orientation for an RN program, but my online status still says 'comm ready' and I seriously feel like last friday was a dream... so in other words I don't have anything in writing and I'm terrified the call was a 'mistake'.... maybe i'm just too paranoid?

Best Thanksgiving Present EVER!!!
HurricaneBells- I don't know the answer to the packet question, as to when they'll sent it- they told me orientation was the 14-15 Jan. I don't think it's two days long though- I'm sure we pick
ok i just called. I asked them the status of my application and they said
" unfortunatley we do not have a definite time of when everything will be updated. we will try to update as soon as possible."
this sucks:( i also asked if they were done calling and she said she didnt have that information.
i wish they just updated the website instead of making us wait even more.
Congratulations, summertimeflowers! I am so happy for you! Orientation is two full days at both the Baltimore and Shady Grove campuses.
Congratulations to you, too, hurricanebells - you are in - quit worrying! All calling is being done before the system will be updated - I am pretty sure of that.
