Since application season is in full-swing, I thought I'd start a forum for those of us applying to the UMass GEP Program for fall 2017. I'm applying to the family specialty! Best of luck everyone!

I need some advice and encouragement I graduated FNP in 2014 and have taken the AANCP test a few times so far I've being unsuccessful. Before taking the test I took Fitzgerald review class in South Carolina

I was disappointed and embarrassed because a lot of my friend pass the first time, some didn't pass until the 2nd time but yet am still having problems doing so after picking myself up and stop felling sorry for myself I've decide to start back studying again.

After taking the test and reviewing I believe in some part I'm responsible for not passing because of changing answers from right to wrong, I know the information but yet I lack the confidence in my self, I don't know what else to do or how to study for this exam. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I just heard as well! What track did you get accepted to? Mine is FNP. I created the Facebook group: UMass Worcester GEP 2017

Hi NPWant2Be, have you been accepted for the fall 2017 already? Quick turnaround! May I ask how long they allowed you to take before finally deciding?

From previous threads, I believe it is 15 days to decide. I received a call notifying me of the acceptance. Letter will be sent after so I don't have the details.

Wow, 15 days to decide?! I wouldn't have heard from any other school by then, I don't know how I could respond that quickly! But at the same time I want to know so bad!

Yeah it is pretty fast. Did you interview yet? Also, our user names are awesome haha

I haven't even finished my application! I've had others with earlier deadlines so that one should be done by this week!
