UMASS Amherst ABSN 2021

Hi, everyone!

I am planning on applying to UMASS for the 2021 cycle of their ABSN program. I will be graduating in December of this year (2020) with my bachelor's in health sciences.

Anyone else going to be applying? ?

@SJC9425Yes. I already paid. I applied last year to only umass Amherst and got wait listed but never got called. this year I applied to umass Boston, Dartmouth, and Amherst. I got denied from Boston and got accepted to Dartmouth, and waitlisted again from Amherst. I guess I got lucky this time and got picked from the list. But Amherst is a lot closer to home so that’s how I decided between Dartmouth and Amherst.

Congrats on your acceptance gabstet610!  I am happy to hear you got off the waitlist; I am waiting patiently for my acceptance letter. Have you heard good things about the program?

@Bonita Soul I have heard from some of my friends that are in the program right now that it is very fast paced and it’s a lot of self teaching. The zoom process has been a little disorganized but that has been a learning process for everyone.

OK, cool.  I heard the waitlist is alphabetical - my last name started with an M; if you do not mind me asking what letter does your last name start with?

My last name begins with B and I still haven’t heard... ?

I don’t think it’s alphabetical because my last name starts w/ a “V” and same as the post earlier my deposit is also due 3/23
