I recently finished nursing at university, i declared my Dr10 (drink drive) conviction prior to starting university, i was seen at a tribunal with course managers they decided that i should stay and complete the course.
I applied to the NMC declaring my conviction, i also provided a copy of my CRB check.
The CRB shows the DR10
The its been 3 weeks now and the NMC still have not reviewed my application they said that they are wafting on a police check.
What is a police check, how long does it take, what does it contain.
My real reason why i am worried was because 5 years ago i was travelling in a vehicle with friends, we got pulled over and the police found a tiny bit of class A drug, we were all arrested, but then at the station one of the friends admitted to it belonging to them, so i was released with no charges.
I did not declare this because it was not a conviction, and it had nothing to do with me.
I am not sure if this will show on the police check , or if it will affect my NMC pin application.
