Nurse training is done at university in the UK and averages 3 years. Very hard as an International student to get into nursing as preference is given to UK citizens. Also very expensive as you will have to pay International fees, plus you will need to make sure that the UK university offers you clinical and theory in all areas if you plan on returning to the US and work as UK training is more specialised

Also add there is no guarantee after you complete training that you can stay in the UK and work. Also expenses will differ depending on where abouts in the UK you are looking at

most bsn are 36 months long contiunose with 7 weeks annual leave a year
some bsn are 4 academic year long sep-june
or you can doa diphe nursing(asn) in 36 months
I was trained by the hospitals several years before universities took over.
If the plan is to train and move to the UK you may have issues but I think the biggest one is going to find a university that accepts International nurse students
