Hi, I am a UK registered nurse and really wants to work and live in Florida, the Davenport area.
I have a Bachelor of Nursing Degree and 7 years acute surgical experience as an RN, I have experience in vascular, urology, colorectal and breast.
I have already registered my interest with the Florida board of Nursing, and I have a CGFNS report, but havn't taken the NCLEX yet, but I'm not sure where to go from here??
There is a 5 year waiting list for a greencard, so have been thinking of going the H1B visa route.
Does this sound like a good idea?
Please help??? : )

I think you will find jobs are hard for USC and people already in the US with PR, so finding a employer willing to pay the H1b route will be harder not impossible but harder. Also depending on how long ago you trained you will be required to have on your transcripts clinical and theory hours in Paeds, Obstetrics, mental Health and Adult.
Thanks Silverdragon.
I gained my degree in 2005,I studied through the peach project, which did have paeds, obstetrics, mental health covered in the first year, then you branched out into which speciality you wanted to qualify in.
I chose adult branch.
