UIW 2017 Spring Nursing Applicant TEAS V scores and GPAs

Published

Hello!

Welcome everyone! I'm starting this forum to find out who all has applied to the University of Incarnate Word nursing program for spring 2017. Feel free to respond with your desired school of choice, your TEAS V scores, and GPAs for science/overall. This is an opportunity for everyone to find out what we're really up against! Good luck everyone and I hope to see you all come spring!!

Oh my goodness! That is so crazy! Prayers sent her way!

Surprisingly, some people have no idea what is going on! I don't say that to be mean. I think every potential nursing student should attend an information session before appling so that they fully understand how to apply. If I hadn't looked further into it, I might of missed a step. Then again, the website is straight forward and also has a checklist. At first it seemed a bit stressful to me but after going over everything, I now know the process like the back of my hand lol.

So when do y'all think we will hear something? Lol. Let the countdowns begin!!!!! í ½í¸ƒí ½í¸ƒí ½í¸ƒí ½í¸ƒ

I hope we will hear something come august! I'm so nervous.

Yes, me toooooooooo!!!!! I've never been so ready for a summer to be over, haaaa!

I know! Hopefully they will send us another email like I read in other forums!

Hopefully so! Is UIW the only place y'all applied to?

Yes it is. I was already taking my prereqs there and I looked into it and it seemed like the best one to me. Especially because of the prestige it has over other institutions. They said that at orientation my freshman year that a lot of hired nurses are from UIW

Awesome! I also noticed that UIW had higher NCLEX pass rates compared to other institutions in SA! I am also applying to UTHSCSA, but if I get into UIW, I'm probably gonna go there! I got a letter in the mail and was offered a scholarship so if my school is paid for, I know where I'm going!

True very true!

I could only apply to UIW because I still have Micro, Chem 2, and Nutrition to take in the fall. If I don't get in, I'll apply again and elsewhere when I've completed my last pre-reqs! What about y'all? I wish I didn't have all my eggs in one basket lol but it's all I can do for now!

I already finished all my prereqs but i'm applying a semester late because I had to retake some courses that backfired in my freshman year. Nevertheless, i'm so ready to get in to the program!
