UIW 2017 Spring Nursing Applicant TEAS V scores and GPAs

Welcome everyone! I'm starting this forum to find out who all has applied to the University of Incarnate Word nursing program for spring 2017. Feel free to respond with your desired school of choice, your TEAS V scores, and GPAs for science/overall. This is an opportunity for everyone to find out what we're really up against! Girl, I would call the UIW nursing department secretary and ask her. If it does have to be processed maybe you should then call NursingCAS. I know they say it can take up to six weeks to process but what could it hurt to call? Especially if you have to have that taken care of before the deadline! I know how you feel though! I didn't start this entire process until the end of this past spring semester! I am thinking positive for you though and I'll say a little prayer that all will be ok ❤️

Hey everybody! I am also applying for the spring 2017 cycle. I am so nervous! I got the email about deadlines today and I already have everything completed for the deadline. I check my email everyday! My GPA is 3.26 and my teas scores was a 68.7% the first time and 80% the second time. Hopefully we will hear soon!

Hello and welcome! I think we all are nervous but your numbers are good! I'm sure you have nothing to worry about í ½í¸í ½í¸í ½í¸â˜ºï¸!! I WISH I had time to retake the TEAS lol!

I have everything except my TEAS! I take it this Friday at a PSI Center!

Good luck to you Izamb! I didn't see much chemistry on mine so I wouldn't study so much on that subject! I already submitted everything so now i'm in a waiting game.

Yes! I thought about applying to Baptist as a backup. But I really want UIW, they are my first choice. ♡ I just hope I get in!

Yes, we can keep in touch and update each other! I hope we all get in!! Speaking of chemistry, I focused big time on anatomy and physiology for the science portion of the TEAS. I got mostly genetic and chemistry questions!

In my test, it was mainly micro and environmental science. A few chem. and a few anatomy. My biggest struggle was actually the reading portion. It was harder than I anticipated. The second time around I really buckled down on the study review that the ATI peoplw provided and it really helped me on the second test. I scored 20 pts higher on the second using that guide!
