UIC master's program FALL 2012

Hi everyone!

I'm just wondering if there's anyone out there applying to any of the specialties for UIC's masters program beginning Fall 2012.

I'm interested in applying for the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program.

Hope to hear from you! =)

I am an interested applicant for fall 2012! I've been looking into NP tracks as well. You've started a thread quite early haha.

haha ya i guess you could say its pretty early. what speciality are u looking into?

I've been thinking about FNP but I've mulling over PNP/ANP. A broader range of ages seems more attractive than constraints towards one side of the age spectrum. I'm from Cali and this is one of the out of states I'm applying to that I am interested in. Are you only applying to UIC?

Ive also been debating over PNP/FNP as well for the same exact reasons. In today's economic climate I'd like to be as marketable as possible. I will most likely apply to UIC and Rush. Have you taken the GRE yet?

I haven't. I'm finishing up my last few months of undergrad and I plan to take it this upcoming summer. I hear they're revamping the test though, so I'm not sure if I should take it before they do. Have you?

Im looking at UIC too! Im looking more toward an ANP or GNP. The GRE is waved if you have a undergrad GPA above 3.25! Rush is good too but expensive!

I also looked into the top 10 NP schools in the country and University of Penn. is top in the nation. They have an NP part time program that you're done in 2 years. Full time is just 1 year! Pretty cool...

Have you guys found any helpful financial aid sites/hints?
