I haven't seen a post about UIC GEM 2018 program so I figured I'd start it.

Has anyone else been invited to the mock interviews and planning on attending?

Hello everybody, anyone else receive a email saying that they were waitlisted? I received mine at 8:10 am congrats on those who got accepted

Is your deposit due on April 30th or May 30th? And how much is the deposit?

Has anyone told you how the waitlist process works? Like how many people are on the waitlist and is it ranked?

My friend is in the program she said the same thing and she was also off of the waitlist. She was notified at the end of June and she said it is ranked. She doesn't know how they are ranking people, but they did also inform her where she was on the list once she was accepted and that was via phone.

The Waitlist FAQs state the applicants offered a waitlist position must respond by April 30 but I think someone else had mentioned thats also the date for admitted students to accept and submit their deposit

The letter I received said the same thing. Inform them by April 30th to be placed on the waitlist

Hey!

Did anyone else who was accepted have anything about an transcript evaluation in their acceptance email? Or if there was any mention of pre-reqs in your courtesy email?
