I haven't seen a post about UIC GEM 2018 program so I figured I'd start it.

Has anyone else been invited to the mock interviews and planning on attending?

Dats a great idea. I will call tomorrow. Orientation is June 21st? And do you know wen the white coat ceremony takes place dat inducts us in nursing school?

Hey everybody! Any news for ppl on the waitlist? Jus fyi clare is out of the office until June 1st. I still have not received my intent to enroll or link for paying deposit. Called they said they will send outb emails this week. Its so frustraing! To have to wait ! Goodluck to you all!

No news yet for waitlisted people (at least for me). A friend who is currently in the GEMP at UIC program said that for their cohort, most waitlisted people heard back around June 1st.

Fingers crossed, good deeds for karma completed once a day, and sending good vibes 24/7! I hope I hear back soon!

Yes, that is what admissions said as well.as Michael. And, that is what they said about my official acceptance also. Its so crazy waiting! Goodluck again. And thanks for the reassurance

I hope so..admissions just sent me my official status change via online yesterday. And my pin to view my financial aid

I say dat to say they do things late at UIC it seems like. So hopefully by tomorrow since clare comes bac in the office tomorrow

Hello Everyone,

I am a new member here. After reading this forum, I decided to join in. I am on the waitlist too. Eager to hear from them. I was accepted last year but couldn't continue due to one remaining pre-requisite that I was not able to complete at the end of May. I am with you all waiting to hear from Clare or Michael.
