2018 UIC Graduate Entry Master of Science Program (GEM)

I haven't seen a post about UIC GEM 2018 program so I figured I'd start it.

Has anyone else been invited to the mock interviews and planning on attending?

and now we wait restlessly for any updates on the waitlist...

No word yet?? I was reading previois forums for 2016 and 17 for this program amd it was the same thing. And it was the same time framesf for both years. One girl from 2016 who was on the waitlist said she received an email on May 12 2016 with her acceptance. And they also said if you dont get in they won't inform u. U jus will not hear any correspondence from them. And it can stretch all the way until.up to 2 weeks before classes start to be accepted

OMG! CONGRATS!! I hope the rest of us hear something soon as well.

I hope you guys hear something soon! I called them on Monday, and asked when will they be pulling people from the waitlist and the gentleman told me not until June 1st. But, I was driving on my way to work and received the email to my phone, saying Congratulations, I was accepted and I my status should change within 2 weeks online. They also said I should receive the packet in the mail and I would have two weeks to send my deposit within 2 weeks of my status change. I'm giving all of these details so you guys who were waitlisted know what to expect. But, the guy did tell me June 1st, but as you guys know its not even close to June.

Thanks for the update! I also called and there was no mention of June 1st but that the waitlist has already started. So its just waiting for my number to be called and hopefully thats soon.
