UIC fall 2016 BSN program

Hey guys!! As you know applications have already been turned in and the interview process has begun. I'm so nervous for April 15th to roll around because thats usually the date in which most people receive their decisions. My GPA is a 3.70 and I'm a volunteer at UIC Hospital and have been fortunate enough to have leadership positions on campus. Such as being the President to PTK honors society and Vice President of Student Government. I'm not a UIC pre-nursing student, I currently attend a community college. This sometimes scares me since I've been told that they have a high preference for UIC pre-nursing students since they know that they can handle UIC courses. I wanted to start this discussion board so that I can get some feed back and also see what everyone else is thinking and try to survive this next month together.

I was a one of the student who called for an admission status on the phone on 15th and were notified that I was waitlisted.However,

The guy at the operator was looking at my admission status: UNDER REVIEW = thought that I was waitlisted.

Today I got an email that I was admitted with official letter, and my application status have been changed to: ADMITTED.

Please do not assume that you have not been admitted based on the application status if you have not received an email.

Thank you for the update! I called in the morning and they told me I was waitlisted also and should have gotten an email. He was going to ask the Director what happened. I have yet to hear again from them and my application status has not changed.

Hi Haro, my GPA was 3.34 overall. But I've done lot of volunteering. A LOT. including service learning experiences. I do not own CNA certification.
