UHV Second Degree BSN Spring 2014 Applicants

Hi all, anybody out there applying for this program? I haven't seen an updated thread on it yet. I just finished applying to UHV- just waiting on NursingCAS to receive my final transcript for my application to be considered "complete" I'm also applying to UTHSCH UTHSCSA accelerated programs, and TWU-Houston traditional BSN program. I have my B.S. in Human Biology from UT Austin in Spring 2010. My undergrad GPA was definitely less than stellar, but all my pre-req coursework is not too bad. What is y'alls impression of this program?

That leader told us that as well, but he says not to worry...so don't worry! I did mine on October 28th and contacted the fast pass place and they told me they already finished with mine and sent it to BON and so now I am planning to contact BON just to see my status. If you want to double check as well you should contact them too

Ugh. I'm such a worrier. I'm afraid someone at my house may have tossed it out thinking it was junk mail. I probably called the BON about 30 times today & couldn't get to anyone. I guess I could try talking to the fast pass place tomorrow before I continue to harass the BON lol

BTW- If you're searching for the group and can't seem to find it, try typing only "uhv second degree" and not the full name. A beige box that reads " find all groups named uhv second degree" will pop up, click it and you should see the group for 2014. Hope this helps! I just sent my request! I look forward to meeting all of you! See you all on FB! :)

Yeah, I wasn't able to find the group either... And it searched all. What are the group's visibility settings?

Hi! I just sent my request to join. I wasn't able to locate the group via iPad or phone but I was able to join through my laptop. For some reason it doesn't give you the same search results. Hope it helps!

I was able to find the group after all! Gen182 is correct, for some reason, you need to use an actual computer to get the correct search settings and "search for all groups." I'm sure it has something to do with the applications used on all other media devices, I suppose! :)

@Princess1217--I remember you from the morning as well! Sorry I'm all late! Looking forward to seeing you next year and meeting everyone else!! :)

Hey everyone!! This is Vrunda (Vee) from the interview, group B. I've also been accepted to the UHV program!!

But I wanted to get on the same page with everyone else. Do your online UHV services still say "incomplete"? Do we have to confirm our acceptance beyond sending the acknowledgement and declaration? And, what date do we need to have uploaded our health insurance card by?

Hi Vee. Mine still says incomplete too. I wouldn't be too worried if I were you. I'm guessing it's because there's still the cleared drug screening & criminal check that needs to be received before were all clear. Do you have Facebook? The majority of people who were on this board are now in a Facebook group. Just search UHV second degree bsn spring 2014 to find it. Everyone is helping each other over in that group :)
