Can anyone give me details regarding working as a nurse practitioner at United healthcare doing home visits full-time. I live in Florida. What is the average salary, benefits, paid vacation, paid CE, etc.?

I recently had a couple of interviews with them, but for long term care. I'm also located in the NE. Package seemed pretty nice for a new grad...104k base with potential for 10% bonus, 4 weeks PTO, 1 week CME and 2500. Was told I was a strong candidate but they are undergoing structural changes and are unable to hire at this point. Pretty disappointing, said they would keep me updated on any changes and to stay in contact. Not sure if it was a polite brush off or not.
Good Luck!

As Flipper points out, they are going through "structural changes", but they are usually in a state of confusion. Most of their "programs" come and go because they are all pilot programs. I worked with a section of United Health Group doing home visits for 1 1/2 years, then was given the opportunity to find another job within the company, or leave. Right now. Today. There were scant few opportunities available for me to transfer to on such short notice, so I had to leave with 2 weeks pay.
I was making 100k base with bonus, so about $110k per year. They started out giving me .57 per mile, but about 3 months in, they changed the mileage to a "per diem" which was a whopping $430 a month.
It wasn't a healthy working environment either. Lots of failed communication, finger-pointing, laying blame, hostility. I just tried to stay in my car and out of the office. The only way I could survive the time I worked there.
Hope this helps.

Hi Jamijlewis,
Did you end up taking this position? Im considering the same here on the West side.
base salary offer: $110k
benefits: healthcare isn't that great so i'm staying w/ my partner's health/dental and they do have a retirement plan - I need to look more into details regarding this part, but i believe the recruiter stated
they match up to a certain %. 8 holidays off, no on call, no weekends. quarterly bonuses ranging on average $1-5,000.
PTO: 23 days - no separate sick or personal time
CE: $2,000.00
