Aloha people - starting a new thread for Fall 2016 applicants.
Submitted my app in early October, I applied for the DNP - FNP track for Fall 2016.
A few days ago I received an email from Shannon: "Your application will be forwarded to the admissions committee for review. The application review will begin starting from October 19, 2015.
Please note that the evaluation of applications can take awhile. It can take several weeks. Therefore, we would like to ask for your patience in this matter."
Anyone else applied for the GEPN Fall 2016 cohort (8?) at UH-Manoa?
I emailed the admissions guy the other day. He said that they were still reviewing my application and that it would still take a couple weeks. I guess that's a good sign that they're still deliberating?
I'm hoping that once there's a handful of accepted GEPN applicants for the 2016 Cohort, we could start a closed facebook group to get to know each other. Unless someone already did?
Ok, so I made a secret FB Group UH Manoa GEPN Cohort 9 since I couldn't find one already made. If you got accepted, message me your emails so I can invite you!
Fellow cohort members, please find the facebook group "UH Manoa GEPN Cohort 9". You can request to join from there. Although, I'm not sure if a @hawaii.edu email address is required.

I submitted my application December 16th. I haven't heard anything except that it will take several weeks to get a decision.
