UH Manoa GEPN Fall 2016 Applicants

Aloha people - starting a new thread for Fall 2016 applicants.

Submitted my app in early October, I applied for the DNP - FNP track for Fall 2016.

A few days ago I received an email from Shannon: "Your application will be forwarded to the admissions committee for review. The application review will begin starting from October 19, 2015.

Please note that the evaluation of applications can take awhile. It can take several weeks. Therefore, we would like to ask for your patience in this matter."

Anyone else applied for the GEPN Fall 2016 cohort (8?) at UH-Manoa? :geek:

I asked the GEPN coordinator via email and that was his response a week ago! I thought that was fairly quick to start accepting students. I'm so anxious to find out!

Hi everyone!

Im a long time reader, but this is my first post :)

I submitted my app for the DNP FNP track a few days ago. I haven't heard anything else other than the fact that they've received my completed application and it's being processed for evaluation (4-6 weeks).

Waiting is torture for sure.

I noticed that previous years, there was a YouTube video requirement. There wasn't a YouTube video requirement for this year correct?

Also, has anyone heard whether they were accepted or not?

I was told that decisions will be sent "shortly." Still waiting for it. App finished on 12/02.

Hey gang! Let the waiting game begin!

I actually got an email saying my graduate school application hasn't been sent to the nursing department yet :/ Hope they send it over soon because the wait is starting to get to me!

I applied for the APHN track :]

I'm just curious about when you submitted your application. I submitted mine on December 1 and am still waiting to hear back.
