Anyone applying or have applied for the Winter 2022 intake at UFV? Has a group conversation been started?
Thanks!

so sorry to hear that ! Why do you think you’re rejected last time. I am such you’ll Get in . You are a stronger applicant

I recommend A&P at BCIT! it’s condensed so it’s 1 and 2 in the semester. It’s quite heavy content wise, so I wouldn’t take too many other courses at the same time. I took it with Bassam and he was great!
last Winter Intake they got their email on November 12 and had their interview session after ours. So I would think people should get an email soon! Maybe even this coming week.
If you don’t get in this try and you are truly want to take nursing at UFV. I highly recommend upgrading grades to atleast a high B or Low A, making sure u have good references and at least 40 volunteer hours.
Also If you don’t get in this intake & want to continue with UFV nursing in the future, email healthsciences to get on the wait list for HSC111. It gets you less of a workload when u do get in first year. Especially since most nurses say it’s the most time consuming class.

Are you in the program now? I’ve applied with 3A’s 1B. I’ve taken all the electives and both A&P’s. I have over 100 volunteer hours and I’ve worked for fraser health for the past year at the covid testing and vaccination sites so I hope that’s enough to get me in ??

I’m register with kwantlen, worst case I get all the electives out of the way and reduce my workload over the first couple semesters. Also will allow me to apply to a greater variety of schools for future intakes if that’s where I end up.
@kieraabbott A good portion of current nursing students at ufv only got in on their second or third try. So it’s common, don’t get discouraged as it is very competitive program. I got put on the waiting for the September I a-t-elle and I am taking HSC111 with the current nursing student. personally IDK, to me, you’re on the right track!! it is your application as a whole, resume, volunteer, reference etc. I have 3A’s and 1B+. It also depends on the other applicants.
September intake**

maybe @Morenita linda call them and tell us what they say. Hahaha
