Anyone applying or have applied for the Winter 2022 intake at UFV? Has a group conversation been started?
Thanks!

Not too sure if there is a group started!

I sent everything in last month. Kinda stressed about how long it’s going to take to figure out what happens next

Hm we may need to start one then! ?
Yes this is my first time applying. How about you?

Yeah I hear that the waiting game is stressful! We might not hear anything for at least a month possibly two. I have a friend who started January 2020 and she only heard back for the info session around September 29th. Is this your first time applying for the program?

Kind of, I tried applying for the Sept 2021 intake but apparently the system has changed since I last applied for university and I wasn’t aware I had to specifically send in highschool transcripts. I sent in everything for post secondary but missed highschool and didn’t realize my error until it was too late to correct.
we should definitely start a thread to discuss things. How are your grades looking? I had to redo all the highschool stuff because it’s been so long since I originally did them. Got A’s in math, chem, and English but just a B in A&P (85% the most annoying grade ever LOL) I’ve been working at differing levels as a first aid attendant for 10ish years now which they’ve said would cover me for work experience hours.
I applied with 3A’s 1B and around 120 hours. Hopefully we hear back sooner!

Oh shoot! Nothing worse than missing a little step and needing to restart the whole process again, or wait for the next intake.
I spent the last year upgrading all of my courses as its been a while since I had taken them. So I'm sitting with one A- in English and A+ in Bio, Chem, and Math.
If you don't mind me asking, what was your graduating year from high school? Mine was 2007, so I imagine I'll be one of the older ones within the application process.

I agree! I hope we hear as soon as possible to make the wait less stressful.

2010 for me so you won’t be completely on your own age wise LOL

That’s what’s I figured. ?
What is your experience with applying? Are you currently in the program at UFV? Are you applying as well for the Winter 2022?

Hi all,
I applied with 3 As and one B in English, and I have work experience as a Medical Office Assistant in a hospital and some volunteer experience as well. Kinda nervous about my one B haha. Good luck everyone! ?
