Hi everyone! I recently received acceptance into the University of the Fraser Valley's RN Program. I was very excited and ready to accept their offer, as I have been applying to multiple universities for a few years, until I got another acceptance letter from Douglas College.
I was just wondering if anyone who has had some experience with either program could offer some insight? I live in Surrey, so I will have a longer drive to UFV. I don't really mind that, as the drive doesn't really factor into my decision. I also like the fact that UFV offers a fast track program, giving me an opportunity to complete in 3 years vs 4 years at Douglas.
If you are a current student or graduate, could you please post what is to expect with either program? What are the courses/professors like? Would you recommend the school? What are the clinicals like? And most importantly, what is the reputation after graduating? I(Do you find that hospitals, etc. are more likely to hire based on the school you graduate from?)
Any insight is appreciated, as I only have a few weeks to make my final decision. Thank you!

Hi there! Which program did you end up going with? I really want to go to Douglas, but all my friends who are in nursing school have gotten accepted to UFV and are telling me it has a better reputation for hiring after graduation. I don't exactly want to believe them as I truly want to go to Douglas. Please give me some insight if you may. Thank you!
