Ufv 2015 sept intake

Hey all. Just wondering what the mark cutoffs will be for those applying for ufv 2015 fall? My gap is 3.43 ... I heard it was 3.5... Haha. I have 140 hours of volunteer.

My friend got invited to the one tomorrow... they may have another tho..maybe call the office tomorrow!

The questions were just like name a time you were unsuccessful, who do you ask for help in the program, and the other was what would you do if u caught someone cheating

honestly ufv is really bad with applications! sometimes the call will make the difference! what were your marks again?

I had alittle over a 3.5 GPA and over 250 hours working in a Chiropractor, Massage therapist and acupuncture office. I also had 2 references. And have finished all my nursing per-req except A&P with an A average.

So just our group goes straight through to interview?

Jenninicole from what I understood from tonight, it sounded like they would be interviewing around 100 people for 48 spots (so 1 in 2 will get in). I think that means that everyone in both information sessions will be interviewed. She said there was 180 completed applications but not everyone made it to the information sessions.

Hey ladies, Yes I did call today and it was nice to finally get some answers. So no I did not make it this year, I haven't officially received and email, but It became very clear when the two information sessions went by and I did not receive an invitation. So basically I calculated my GPA wrong, I guess. It ended up be 3.45.. so that kind of sucked. Apparently they had quiet a bit of amazing applications this year and I was really close but didnt make the cut. It's disappointing but really nice to actually know what was happening. She said this year almost all the applicants had 3 A's or all A's so, she suggested in the mean time upgrading one of my sciences. So that's what I will be doing, that will ensure my marks will be even more competitive and hopefully ill be invited in January :) I wish you ladies all the best! and let me know if you make it in :) You all sound like amazing woman and I would have loved to meet you! And who knows maybe I'll be asking you for tips on getting in next semester! All the best and thanks for all your support throughout my crazy process :)

Questions for you all.... Does anyone know the breakdown of the point system? From what I have gathered it is /16 for grades, /2 for essay, /6? for volunteer... What is the interview worth? Is there any other section I am missing? The total is 39, correct?
