Not to discourage you, but I attended an information session tonight and the lady said that not all complete applicants received an invite to the info session. I would still call and make sure they didn't want you to come in but something just went awry!

Yeah, I keep calling. On the website it says all complete applicants will get a chance to come to the information session. Abby, I had all B's but I had about 160 volunteer hours, so I don't understand. I've had to call so many times, I don't know, its really depressing because I worked so hard to get everything done and in by the 15th of August.

Abby12, on Thursday the lady made it sound like there were only two info sessions because she kept referring to the Tuesday night group and based on that we could see our odds of getting into the program numbers-wise. However I know that it's not do-or-die if you don't attend because in the email for the interview it says if you haven't had a chance to attend, you can write your essay before you go in for your interview.

She didn't really say how many people they were going to interview. At my info session we had approximately 25 applicants. The email about not attending the session is for people who couldn't make it to write their essay, so they have to write it before their interview.

My interview was this morning (friday) and it went great! I was discouraged though because for this intake they are interviewing 80 applicants for 32 spots which means a 40% chance to get in :/ The questions were easy I didn't find them hard to answer.

Hows everyone interviews going? Any of your guys' interviews end with them telling you how competitive it is and to not be discouraged if you are not accepted in this intake

I found my interview to be slightly challenging and the questions ambiguous, but overall it was ok. Mine ended with her saying that they would have a meeting and review applications, but said nothing about my chances of being accepted or the competitiveness of the program.

Hi there, Am I too late to apply for the September 2014 intake do you all think? I have all my prerequisites and application requirements in order to send in, however I'm wondering if I'm behind the eight ball now? Of course I'll apply for January as well. Sigh. It's great to find a forum like thus one. I've gleaned a lot just from reading some of your posts! Thank you whomever started it!
