Hello!

Is your name Abby for Abbotsford? (Lol you don't have to respond to that.)

I did apply for this UFV intake (first-time) but since I would have to relocate, UFV is my second choice. But it'd still be great if I got in! When does UFV start contacting applicants to attend interviews?

Hahah yes I'm from Abbotsford !

They usually send out a letter mid September for the information session .. that's when you go and write your essay. Last times I received my interview letter a couple days after the information session one, but some applicants receive it after the essay. The interviews take place in October.

That's great to know, thanks abby!

Hello!

I've applied for the January 2014 intake as well :)

Thank you for letting us know about the letter regarding the information session! I've been anxiously awaiting the letter... D:

Hi! I've also applied for the January 2014 intake :) Does anyone know what specifically they are looking for in the interview? I've heard maturity to handle the program is a big one. Any thoughts?

Has anyone received their info session letter yet?

Nope nothing yet. Maybe this upcoming week?

I received the completion status letter the other week, but nothing about the information session D:

As far as what they are looking for in the interview, I've heard a few different things like the ability to handle multiple tasks at once, planning and organizational skills and how you intend to pay for the program. That was what one student told me a couple years ago, so it might be different now.

I just received an email about the info session, both to my personal email and myUFV email so it should be there :)

Me too ! My info session is next Tuesday.

Hello!

This is my second time applying to the program and I hope to make it in for this intake! My info session is also next Tuesday. :)

Btw, does anyone know how many volunteer hours is considered 'competitive'?
