UFV January 2017 Applicants

I've seen a couple pages like this for hopeful UFV nursing applicants and figured I'd make one for this coming intake. :)

Hello Everyone,

I am also applied for the January intake. Last March an advisor told me they upped there standard from 2 A's and 2 B's to 3 A's and 1 B. Is everyone on the same page as this? I have 3 A's and 1 B, so I am concerned I'm not outstanding enough.

Most of the students apply with 2a and 2b, but when I went to the orientation last intake, the lady said that students with points 14,16 will definitely get an interview and who has 12 points probably not, depends on the number of applications.

so, I don't know this year if they made any changes.

So, if you have A+ it is worth 4.3, A is 4, B+ is 3.3, B is 3, C is 2. So they calculate points based on four prerequisite , eng, maths, Chem and bio.

[First off, best of luck to everyone! :) I applied for summer 2016 with 3 A's + 1 B and 100+ volunteer hours and was conditionally accepted. Hoping to do even better this time around.

hey guys, does anyone know how the essay works ? and the interview. what are the types of questions they ask.

So there will be three essay type questions basically critical thinking and you will be given 45 minutes to answer it.

its not right or wrong but how u think.

Yes, only if we get an email for info session.did anyone hear about info session or an interview yet??

i got a email from them yesterday saying that they are pleased to tell me my application to the bsn program is now complete. your application is in a position to be considered for the jan 2017 intake. and she was talking about the info session to make sure i keep looking at my student email.
