UFV Fall 2022 Nursing

Published

Hello Folks,

congratulations to all for applying. I just wanted to start the forum for people applying for fall 2022.

Me too, I was going into it thinking I was pretty prepared but when the timer started I think I just sat there staring at my screen for a minute LOL. And yeah I thought it was a little weird they took out the 3 year option I wonder why they did that

LOL! After reading all your messages I just thought of how nerve racking it was. That being said, they are not looking for a perfect essay or lengthy one ! I think it more if content and see how you think on the spot.

I am sure you all did well! I can’t wait to see you all in sept ☺️

Hey! I was apart of the info session today too!
how do you guys think you did? Is this your first info session?

Just curious, because you deferred your intake does that mean you have a spot in the September intake without needing to go through this crazy process again? ☺️ If so that’s amazing!

Honestly no clue and this is my first info session wbu ?

that’s so ridiculous that they’re removing the 3 year program. I wonder if they decide to bring it back, if we are allowed to transition into the 3 year program. Guess we’ll find out soon.

Yes!! Supposedly they are adding more positions for nurses and nursing students because there is a shortage so I’m surprised to see that the total number of seats for January and September remain the same.

Do you know how many info sessions they were offering? There is obviously more as there was only 30-33 in the group today.

I’m not sure on the exact amount but I know that there was one a couple days prior to the one today

I felt good about it, but when she said that there were a ton of applicants it definitely made me doubt myself haha. how about you?

This was my first info session, I’m really hopeful I won’t have to do another one but I know the odds of getting in first try are pretty slim. Trying to stay hopeful! I didn’t apply for the 3 year program but if they brought it back and let us transition to it I’d definitely be interested in it.

If we don’t get invited to the interview, will we just not get an email? Or will they let us know that our application has been rejected?

They’ll let us know if we’ve been either rejected or invited
