UF Traditional BSN 2021

Published

Thread for University of Florida traditional BSN applicants.? Posted early so we can get our questions asked before the March 1st application deadline. With corona this year, applications are even more interesting and unpredictable!

My stats are on the lower side, but are still up there. I have a 89.6 HESI (w/ a 920 in critical thinking) and a 3.75 GPA. What's helping those lower stats are lots of volunteer hours in my community, an amazing part-time CNA position at a hospital in downtown Jacksonville, club leadership positions, involvement with local sport clubs, and more. I am currently at UNF.

Looking forward to everyone's collaboration ?

I didn’t get one. Only the follow up letter about how decisions would be in early June. They didn’t do it for their ABSN students this year so they might’ve did away with it.

There was a personality assessment in our HESI exam, so it makes sense that they did away with the second one. Two personality assessments is a little much.

It looks like the DNP applicants heard final decisions today so hopefully we will hear next week sometime ??

Has anybody heard anything??

No I keep refreshing my email ?

Same...I've been checking every few minutes ?

I feel like previous year applicants found out much later in the evening like around 5ish or 5:30.

They released decisions.

I got declined. I have a 4.0 GPA and have worked as a CNA for a year and got a 89.1 on the HESI. Looks like I’ll be going to FSU!

Is there anyone who has not received an email yet?

I haven’t heard anything…. just got off of work. I’m confused and nervous

I got my acceptance letter around 4pm today. could it be that letters go out in rounds ?

To those of you who have been accepted, congratulations! I was wondering for those who didn't, if you don't mind, what are your plans for the future?
