Hello Everyone!
I'm getting this forum started early for those who are applying to the UF College of Nursing's Accelerated Bachelors of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program!
Feel free to get the discussion going... How do you stand among others (GRE, GPA, etc)? Go Gators! :)
I know that you can't "opt out" but I think I read in a test prep book that there is a "skip" button for the writing section... But i'm not sure if this is true or how that will count against our score
@KAM212: if you do the ScoreSelect option (instead of sending scores immediately on test day), don't you have to pay for each test score sent?
@gPtn, yes, unfortunately, that appears to be the case. The fee is $27 for sending the scores after the test day administration. If you send on the same day as the test, you can send it to 4 institutions for free. You should also be able to print your own official score for your own records for free if you do so on the day of testing.
Hello! Glad to see thread is already active!
Busy studying for the GRE which I take Aug 8th...using Kaplan and seem to making some progress. I will be taking micro and Psychology to finish up my prerequisites...so far straight A's!! Very anxious about getting accepted given how competitive it is...applying to 3 other programs just in case...of course UF is my first choice. Earned my bachelor's in Business in 08 at UF and have 16+ years experience in operations management.
Thing I am most concerned about right now is I have no volunteer experience...how much will this hurt me?
Good luck to everyone!!

It also looks like the entire score from a single test is submitted to the institution. You can select which test date(s) to send through the ScoreSelect option, but I do not think you can be selective as to which part of the test you send.
