UCSF's Integrated Complementary Healing Focus as an ANP

Hi all!

Are there any NPs currently in UCSF's MEPN/MSN program who are specializing in integrated complementary healing (ICH)? If so, can you let me know how you like the program? I'm interested in knowing if a majority of the curriculum for this area of focus is dedicated to ICH or the main focus is on being a general ANP with just additional training in ICH? Also, will you be able to prescribe medications in addition to herbs? Thanks alot!

Yes, you can do the NP ICH subspecialty with the MEPN. I just went to their informational meeting, which I highly recommend to anybody interested in any of their programs. It was indeed very informational. I have a BSN, and I plan on applying to their Adult NP program.
