Hi Kensington,
It's cool that you're interested as well! Anyways, here's the direct link to the specialty which also includes a link with the curriculum: http://nurseweb.ucsf.edu/www/spec-anp-ich.htm
I'm very interested in this focus, but can't find this specialty listed on their website. Could you please help to point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Hey Kensington,
If you browse around the UCSF Nursing webpage, you will find that there's a whole list of specialties you can get into with one of them being integrated complementary healing as a subbranch of the adult nurse practitioner specialty. Here's the direct link: http://nurseweb.ucsf.edu/www/ix-ms.shtml
Have fun with the link!
Thank you! :) Can you do this as part of the MEPN program, do you know?

Hi all!
Are there any NPs currently in UCSF's MEPN/MSN program who are specializing in integrated complementary healing (ICH)? If so, can you let me know how you like the program? I'm interested in knowing if a majority of the curriculum for this area of focus is dedicated to ICH or the main focus is on being a general ANP with just additional training in ICH? Also, will you be able to prescribe medications in addition to herbs? Thanks alot!
