UCSF New Grad Spring 2022

Nurses Career Support

Updated:   Published

Hi all! Thought I would start this thread for the upcoming new grad cohort at UCSF for Spring 2022.

From what I've seen on the website, the application period opens on Saturday, January 8 and goes until Saturday, January 15. No lists of which departments are hiring this go around. Must have your license by March 4th. The program starts on April 4th.

I applied last go around, but I didn't have a test date yet. Hoping I can get in this time!

Good luck to all!

PCICU is under review for me!

did anyone apply to ICN and still have it as "applied"?

Did anyone else apply around the 9-10 and have their application change from “applied”? All 4 of mine haven’t changed ?

I applied to some adult units on 1/10 and none are under review yet!

Specializes in Primary Care.

Anyone else apply to Antepartum? Mine still says "Applied".

There's been no change on any of mine either. It'd be nice if we could reach out to someone to follow up... ?

My PICU just went under review

I have 6 (I think?) applications under review; both pediatric and adult units. It doesn't seem like interviews will begin this week. It would be nice to have some more advanced notice if we are invited to interview next week so that people can make accommodations with work, etc.

Thanks for making this post!

My Med/surg ICU and neuro ICU status changed to "under review" on 1/20. I applied to these positions on 1/13. Hoping to hear updates soon!

Does anyone know what the interview process is like for UCSF? If it is only behavioral questions, or are there are hypothetical clinical scenarios presented to us as well?

Yeah, I’m worried I may have left something out of my application since I found the application quite simple! ?

Just to let you guys know..some adult units have started reaching out today for interviews!
