UCSF New Grad Program 2023 Questions

Hello all, 

I am at the last semester of the ABSN program at Samuel Merritt. I'm expecting to graduate in early Jan and plan to take the NCLEX early Feb and no later than late Feb. I would like to know the timeline for applying to UCSF's nursing new grad Spring program 2023. Any past experiences with UCSF to share will be greatly appreciated.

Yeah...oddly enough it says I'm no longer being considered and that I didn't get the job...but they literally called me yesterday and made me an offer saying that HR will be in touch with me. It's very strange but I'll let you know once I get another update from the department. 

 That's weird, is this for ICN?

Yeah it's for ICN. I just talked to my recruiter though and she said that status I had previously was a default status and to ignore it so maybe the application status is not an accurate way to know if you got the job or not.

Does anyone know if we'll have to take the Medication Calculation and Tele tests at orientation?

They didn't mention it today at the info session today but I wouldn't be surprised if they do.

Hi everyone, I am reapplying for the next cohort and want to go into pediatrics. For those who received an offer in that area, what do you recommend I can do to help my chances of getting a second interview?  I don't have a lot of patient experience in this area so I feel a little discouraged...
