Hi, I searched for a thread for the UCSF MEPN 2021 cohort, but did see any. I hope this help. I am looking to apply for the CNM/WHNP speciality. I wish everyone one of us all the best n our application.

Hello and congrats to everyone who was offered a spot into this year’s cohort! I accepted my offer on Wednesday and I’ll be doing the AG-CNS track. I hope there are more of you out there LOL. Can’t wait to meet everybody!

Just saw my acceptance email for PMHNP and I'm overjoyed!! Big congrats to everyone who was accepted and I absolutely agree with all the others: if you weren't accepted the first time through, don't lose hope; definitely apply again. I know how crushing it can be but you'll get there. Everyone I've spoken with who applied and interviewed was amazing. You all deserve to be there.

I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone!

I noticed that someone made a FB page for the cohort--its called UCSF MEPN 2021 if anyone on here wants to join! Excited to meet everyone!

Hi everyone! I was looking for the 2022 MEPN thread but looks like there isn’t one yet. ??‍♀️ 
 

Question: I’m reapplying this cycle and wanted to know if its acceptable/a good idea to resubmit the same LORs and simply adjust my responses to the written materials slightly. Anyone have experience with reapplying and knows best practice for doing so? I would hate to have to find 5 new recommenders.

I was someone who reapplied and was accepted on my second application cycle. I did not change my letter writers but they did send in new letters, presumably with tweaks based on the additional year that had passed. I definitely went over my written statements however, and made not insignificant changes. I also wrote down the interview questions and put a lot of thought into developing my answers more completely, as well as practicing. I felt a whole lot better about my interview the second time around. Best of luck to you on your application! It sucks to go through another years' wait but don't be disheartened!

Hello! Deciding between UCSF and another school. Current MEPN students please share your thoughts on program? Is UCSF worth the expensive tuition (primarily 1st year)?
