  1. I have heard that it is difficult to transition from an experienced RN to a provider role (NP). I also think you'd have to really do some soul searching as the programs are very different. With UCSF you have already chosen your specialty. Do you feel confident about that specialty and wanting to be a provider in that specialty? Or, would you rather do UCLA work as an RN a while and explore where your passions lie before specializing? Yes there will be a huge learning curve when transitioning to practice as APRN but I believe there is a going to be a huge learning curve regardless. So, for me, I would think about what role I ultimately wanted to do. HTH! Congrats either way!
  2. Can’t wait to meet you all as well!
  3. I just accepted my offer for the PMHNP track. I’m overjoyed!!! To anyone who didn’t get in, if this is your passion definitely ask for feedback and try again.
  4. So psych maybe won't get released tonight ? LOL
  5. Nothing yet, hoping today is the day!
  6. I cant wait for the interview and results! Nervous and excited while preparing...
  7. My email came at 332 for psych NP specialty.
  8. I got an interview invite as well
  9. I was just emailed stating my application is complete and to disregard.
  10. I got the email too and everything has been submitted.
  11. I ordered mine first week of July.
  12. Yes I was notified via email that my application was complete and in review.
  13. I wrote my responses paragraph style, put the letter grade A, B etc (they have our transcripts), and post grad plans about post mepn.
  14. Unfortunately my application did not work out. They told me at the last minute I needed to add colleges and transcripts even if I received no degree and did not take prereqs there. One of the colleges has since closed so I ran out of time. Best of luck to you all!
