Hi, I searched for a thread for the UCSF MEPN 2021 cohort, but did see any. I hope this help. I am looking to apply for the CNM/WHNP speciality. I wish everyone one of us all the best n our application.

Specializes in Psych.

Nothing yet, hoping today is the day!

Have not heard anything! I have a feeling we will next week since they told me end of feb. in my interview and that is what the website says! Hopefully soon! Good luck everyone!!

Anyone know how many spots per speciality? I’m assuming about 10, but wondering if anyone knows for sure?

I would asume about 20 spot per speciality if there was only 4 specialty to choose from.

I feel like due to Covid times, we may not see the same time frames of notice as last year so probably next week. Even with that I still can't help checking my email throughout the day.

Decisions are out! I've been waitlisted for the CNM/WHNP. Does anyone know when the waitlisted folks will know? Congrats to everyone who got in and keep trying to those who didn't make it this year!

Just accepted my admissions offer for the AGPCNP program! After interviewing and getting a rejection last year! I’m trying not to happy cry at work!

Just checked my application and don't see any updates yet. Wonder if they're rolling them out little by little, or if it's by specialty.

Long time lurker here. Congrats to those who got in! I got rejected for FNP - feeling pretty bummed and discouraged at the moment. I won’t give up though and will try to reapply next cohort. I didn’t feel so confident after my interview (I was overly nervous that I didn’t do so great) so I wouldnt be surprised if it affected my admission decision. For those of you who reapplied and got in this year, I’m wondering if I can get any advice on how I can make myself more competitive for reapplication. I have fair GPAs (3.9 prereq, 3.2 undergrad - biochem major), 4 years of working as a CRC, various outreach projects geared towards helping the marginalized population, excellent LORs, two publications. I’m really passionate about becoming an FNP and would greatly appreciate any advice/feedback please. Thank you so much in advance!
