2013 UCSF MEPN Applicants

Nursing Students Post Graduate

Published

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to apply for the 2013 cycle of MEPN at UCSF (application date would be September 1 of this year). I'll be applying for psych/mental health, and it will be my first time applying to this program. I was wondering if anyone else is out there who is applying for the 2013 cycle. I'm hoping we could share encouragement and tips!

Also, there's a thread for 2012 applicants- definitely check that out too. :)

One month is a long time.... good thing many other schools will also send out notifications throughout February!

I wanted to confirm some numbers that had been mentioned during the informal informational session, I'm not sure how accurate these are, but it was mentioned that there were 300 applicants, of which 99 were interviewed, with 60 to be accepted. Also- and this is important- make sure to start your FAFSA application now and get that process going, even though we don't know whether or not we'll be accepted.

Those were roughly the numbers I heard from the interview too. Sounds like we have great odds! :)
