Got an email saying they are opening 3 more spots at St. Mary's and st. Francis hospital. So there is still hope!

Hi, do you mind if I ask what was said in the rejection email? I got another email from the recruiter but not sure if that's a rejection email LOL. Thanks!

Good luck to you!!

Looks like all the rejection emails are relatively the same! This one is the one I got from the neuroscience unit "Thank you for your interest in our Medical/Surgical - Adult Neurosciences team.

We appreciate the time you spent submitting your application for our new grad positions on the Medical/Surgical - Adult Neurosciences team.

After careful review of all applicants, the team has decided not to move forward with your candidacy for one of their openings. Please do not be discouraged, we did receive a high volume of applications and the decision was a difficult one. We are also unable to provide individual feedback regarding your application due to this high volume.

Thank you again for applying for this position, and we hope you will consider applying again for the Spring 2025 cohort, if eligible, or reapply for a CNII-experienced RN role once you have gained at least one year of relevant experience.

Regards,
UCSF Talent Acquisition Team"

I applied 7/13 for Cardiac ICU and Surgical ICU as my top choices, however stated I would be happy with mostly any unit. Since 7/22 my application status has been listed as 'under recruiter review', I have not received any rejection email, any calls, or any invites...can I assume I did not get the position? I'm frustrated because this is my 2nd bachelors degree- both of my degrees are from CU in Colorado, which has a great nursing school. I have work experience as a PCT and Cardiac Telemetry Technician in Texas at a heart hospital and experience as a Unit Clerk and Cardiac Tele Tech in San Jose, CA....I left for 1 year to finish my ABSN in CO and returned to CA where my partner lives/ my home is and thought I would not have so much difficulty finding a position. I know it's competitive here, but I thought I had a good chance and enough experience...also, I was able to get a spot for my capstone/ immersion in the Cardiac ICU. Am I not a strong candidate for UCSF/ the Bay?

Thank you! I also got an email about the new positions at St. Mary's or Saint Francis. Did anyone else get the same email?

Super curious if any else on the thread applied to the adult surgical tcu. Havent seen anyone mention it and would love to know if anyone has heard anything back (an offer or rejection)?

How do we apply to the St. Mary's or St. Joseph's? I can't find any information online

there was an email sent by someone named (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME). I just replied to that message stating my interest. they said they will send the resume directly since they already have your application.

I think they have to send you the email and they will forward your application to the hospitals. There's no external application for it.

You sound like a strong candidate to me. I think that it's just extremely competitive in California and especially the Bay Area.
